Many iOS devices support Face ID or Touch ID biometric authentication. You can activate Face ID or Touch ID to securely access Debut without needing to enter a login PIN.
Depending on which model iPhone you have, you will have one or the other.
Please note: Biometric authentication is also available for Android devices, via facial recognition and fingerprint scan. Please check your device.
Set up Face ID or Touch ID during setup.
While preparing your account, during the Security Setup, you'll be asked if you would like to use Face ID or Touch ID.
Where can I turn on Face ID or Touch ID?
If you skipped activating Face ID or Touch ID during account setup or previously turned it off, you can switch Face ID or Touch ID back on by going to the More tab > Settings. Under Security, you'll find a toggle for Face ID or Touch ID. If you don't see this setting, one of the following things may have happened:
1. You have not allowed your Face ID or Touch ID to authenticate Debut.
There may be a setting for this in your device's main settings (outside of Debut.)
On iPhone, go to Settings > Face ID or Touch ID & Passcode > Other Apps and make sure the toggle for Debut is switched to the on position.
2. You may not have biometric authentication turned on for your device at all.
Check your device settings (outside of Debut) and make sure that biometric authentication is set up.
On iPhone, go to Settings > Face ID or Touch ID & Passcode. Here you can set up and manage your Face ID Settings.
3. Your device may not Face ID or Touch ID.
If you are using a device that does not support biometric authentication, the option to use fingerprint or facial recognition will not be available to you inside of Debut.
